plastics in a year, which is 700,000 in ten years, and 7,000,000 in a
century. That’s a lot of plastic!
We also produce a lot of plastic, globally in 1970 we produced around 50
million ton. Today we produce more than 350 million tons of plastic a
year.
Humans + Plastic= Disaster. But the good news is we can take plastic and
disaster out of the equation and leave humans (Obviously), in a few
simple steps
Step 1: Switch to reusable materials. This way we can Refuse Plastic. Now this might sound like a simple thing but millions and trillions of people in the world use plastic water bottles on a day to day basis. We can switch to materials such as aluminum and glass for containers and paper for use and throw items. We can also use steel and metal water bottle instead of your everyday plastic bottle.
